Creating Acrobat 8 tutorials

I'm really disappointed that Captivate (now an Adobe product) does not seem to be able to recognize Adobe Acrobat's screen elements, so that the only click areas and text labels that are created relate to the menu bar. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to make it capture these items? If Captivate doesn't even work with Adobe's products, it seems to question the robustness of the product.

If not, is there a suggestions list that Adobe listens to for Captivate issues? I don't consider this an enhancement request.
