I have an Adobe ID and I can use it to log on my account online, but I have been trying to authorize my Adobe Digital editions with that ID and cannot do so. I downloaded this Adobe Digital Editions software from online library.

I think you are using Adobe Digital Editions version 3.0.

To de-authorize on it, keyboard shortcut is: ctrl+shift+d.

key in this shortcut, you will get de-authorization dialog.

Hope this works !!

Here is the picture. And (just to give you more info), this program was downloaded from a library website, not bought when I made this account, so the problem might be because of that (which I can understand), but I need to figure out how to connect the two.

What helped me is just deleting Adobe cookies from the browser. And everything worked like a snap.

The actual names of the buttons may be a bit different. I'm translating from another language.

1. You go to Google chrome Settings in the right upper corner.

2. Then you go to Settings right above About the browser.

3. Scroll down to the bottom.

4. Click Additional settings.

5. Then go Personal Settings - Content settings.

6. Under Cookie files - All cookie files and site data

7. In the opened window in the upper right corner there is a Cookie file search window.

8. Type in Adobe.

9. You'll get a list of files with the key word Adobe.

10. Delete them. Each file separately. Don't use Delete all cookies.
