I can't see my Kobo to download books in 4.0

Hello,

I have a Kobo e-reader.  I downloaded 4.0 from Adobe and ordered a book from my library.  I can see the book is there but Adobe cannot see my Kobo.  I uninstalled and tried again, re-booted my computer, and still no luck

Kobo device will appear on left hand side (under devices) of ADE.

It is not there.  I also don't have devices.  Adobe digital is not seeing my Kobo.

• Connect your KOBO to your computer using a Micro USB cable.
• Tap Connect on your KOBO .
• Launch ADE.
• Kobo eReader  will appear in bookshelf (listed on the left side under Devices).

Yes, I have done what you advised, numerous times.   I still don't have devices or see the Kobo.  ADE is not recognizing the KOBO.
