I can't install, it gets to 30% downloading and stops.  I deleted it completely from my computer to no avail, same problem happened when I tried a clean install

I have a MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, an iMac 5K that all had the same problem (hanging at the 30% download mark).  After tons of wasted time the fix was found on the following webpages.  Not sure why Adobe can't consolidate the entire process on one page and why they don't make it easier to find the Flash Offline Installer.

1. Download the Flash Offline Installer - this brings down the entire Flash program so you don't have to put up with the hanging download process.

Mac OS X

  • Intel Core™ Duo 1.83GHz or faster processor
  • Mac OS X v10.6, v10.7, v10.8, or v10.9
  • Safari 5.0 or later, Mozilla Firefox 17, Google Chrome, or Opera 11
  • 512MB of RAM; 128MB of graphics memory

I have been trying to update my Adobe Flash Player and I keep getting error messages that the program has unexpectedly quit. I reviewed the system requirements and what I posted above is what I found. OS X Yosemite is 10.10.2. I'm officially stuck - I need to upgrade or I can complete online projects for work. Suggestions?

You're not the only one... I've tried uninstalling and doing a clean reinstall but nothing works.

I'm getting to 25% download and then it just sits there. I am missing content on some web pages because of this.

This worked for me. I uninstalled, cleaned out the trash, rebooted, and installed it from the link in this post.

3. Run the Offline Installer downloaded in step 1 to install the full fresh copy of Flash.

4. Verify the success back on this page.

This worked for me on all 3 systems.  What a pain in the neck.
