I am looking for a way to create topics, send the topic electronically, to a SME, have the SME edit the topic, send it back and accept or reject the changes from there. The SME's will most like NOT have RH7. Does anyone know how to "track change" text in RH7 HTML topics for SME's who don't have RH7? Or have a suggestion on the best way to do this? SMEs are sometimes located in a different state so paper manual review is not a good option.

Hi MeWrite and welcome to the RH community.
Typically this done by generating a word file using the Printed Documentation single source layout. Once your SMEs have used Word's track changes functionality, you accept/reject them and either import the Word document into your project or just amend the HTML files as required. There is no track changes functionality in RH itself.

Hi Colum. I've been using RH since version 4, but I don't normally post. That's what I've done in the past, but was hoping there was a simpler way to do this. Thanks for the quick response. Much appreciated.

Hi MeWrite and welcome to our community

You may be interested in a solution offered by fellow Adobe Community Expert Peter Grainge. It involves using another Adobe product called Contribute. You may view that information by clicking here.

Cheers... Rick
