I am getting an error (A valid installer cold not be found) when trying to create a package using AAMEE. I have used this in the past to package Presenter. I have targeted the path to setup.exe and set-up.exe.

I call support for the fix. Since version 9, you have to use the CC Packager.

ftp://cust-dl:$Zwmpl3456@sjftp.adobe.com/ccp1_8/CreativeCloudPackager_1_8_all.exe

Instructions for creating Presenter 10 package for 64-bit OS and 32-bit PowerPoint:

  1. Please download Adobe Presenter 10 from Adobe.com or from your Adobe Licensing Website (LWS) account and extract the .7z file to a folder by double-clicking the .exe file.
  2. Once done, please launch CCP and Click “Creative Cloud for Enterprise”.
  3. Sign in using your Adobe ID and click Next.
  4. Now, click on “Create Package”.
  5. Select “Serial Number License”.
  6. For 64-bit OS and 32-bit MS Office, select “64-bit package”.
  7. Click Next and enter the serial number for Adobe Presenter 10.
  8. Now, click on “Offline Media” option at the bottom of the window and navigate to the installer for Presenter 10 extracted in step 1. You may have to select the 32-bit folder inside the extracted setup folder and then build package.
  9. Adobe Presenter 10 package is created and you would see “Builds” and “Exception” folder.
  10. Deploy the contents of build and exception folder just like you do for other products.

Well I spoke to soon. It seems that the packager does not fix the error. I am still getting an 1603 error in the log file. I ran the MSI with a /log switch to get the log file. I can manually install the program, so there no conflict with any other software.

  3. Reboot the machine and follow the steps mentioned above to create a package and deploy it .
  4. If you still face any issue then please send me a installation logs as private message .
