Adobe Flash Player freezes on install

I have been trying for the past day to download the newest version of Adobe Flash Player. I have done everything that the forums have suggested (uninstalled older version, deleted my anti virus software etc.) Every time I try to install, it freezes at 30%. Any help would greatly appreciated!

My computer is a MacBook Pro 10.10.1

Did you try the following Adobe site?  Down at the bottom it says, "Still having problems?". Click on the link for your browser type.

If this works you might want to Bookmark the page or save it as a Favorite.

This morning we resolved a problem that prevented Flash Player installations from completing for some of our Macintosh users.

If you encountered this problem, please delete any previously downloaded Flash Player installer and either:

1.)      Download the installer again from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer

2.)      Download the stand-alone installer from  http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_osx.dmg
