update Flash Player for MAC 10.10.2 Yosemite

I have tried several times to run and install the latest Flash Player on my Mac, but it only goes as far as 25% and then just stops there and goes no-further.

I have done a "clean uninstall" and tried again with the same results. What can be the problem?

I eventually re-installed Flash Player. Now it is working fine. I believe that the most likely explanation is that, in the intervening few days, Adobe have provided a version that is compatible with Yosemite. Hope so.

This morning we resolved a problem that prevented Flash Player installations from completing for some of our Macintosh users.

If you encountered this problem, please delete any previously downloaded Flash Player installer and either:

1.)      Download the installer again from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer

2.)      Download the stand-alone installer from  http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_osx.dmg

A couple smaller anti-virus vendors were erroneously blacklisting the Flash Player download, which was causing our installer to hang.  We reached out to the appropriate vendors and were able to get those assets whitelisted.
