What do I need to do to get websites to recognized that I have the latest FP installed? I have gotten it to almost work once, but then it reverted back to the Download Adobe Flash Player Update message again. I would really like to be able to watch videos, even movies on my computer. I am running Win7 64bit and Mozilla 36.0.4. If any one has a clue as to what is going on, I would appreciate it. I have downloaded, re-downloaded, done straight from site download, clean installs, cleared browser cache, increased cache amount, enabled plug-ins, and whatever other crazy thing I found online in the help pages and in the forums that halfway applied to my issue. Thanks in advance if you know what to do.

So what is your installed Flash Player version?
Also, is it enabled in Firefox?

Hi,
What are the URLs to the websites that are displaying the 'Download Adobe Flash Player' message? Also, a screenshot of the exact behaviour will be very helpful (How to post a screenshot in the forum).
Thank you.

Hi bigmamaaj,
Can you please share the web-links which pop up this message.
If you are using an older version of Flash Player, Ideally you should receive a prompt something like this(below) while playing a video IF your Flash Player is OLD.
On Clicking Activate Adobe Flash Player, Older version of Flash Player installed on your system will be used. But it is highly recommended that you click on 'Check for Updates' and walk you through installing the latest version of Flash Player.
If you are receiving anything apart from the above screen, please provide the links so we can walk you through whether you should or should not go ahead.
Thanks
Piyush
