I have downloaded the install package for Adobe Flash Player for Mac OS X. However when I try to install it attempts to open Matlab rather than installing the package. I'm trying to figure out what to tell it to change the default option that must somehow be invoking Matlab when it sees the mdlp extension.
Hi,
Please delete everything (.dmlp) after the .dmg in the file name.
We are seeing this behaviour with users that have MathLab installed and we are investigating why this is happening. FWIW, this happens to other software DMG files as well, not just the Flash Player installer. For some reason, when users have MathLab installed it appends the .mdlp extension to the DMG file that was downloaded When users attempt to launch it instead of being opened with DiskImageMounter, which is what OS X uses

If this happens in the future just delete '.mdlp' from the file name and DiskImageMounter will open the DMG, instead of MathLab.
