Flash will not install just has a blank installer box

Like the title says I can not get the latest flash installer to install. It opens up but has a blank Adobe Flash player installer box that has to be closed via task manager.

What I have and tried:

Windows 7 64 bit

Firefox with the browser closed

Antivirus disabled or when I had it enabled it also says it is safe

Run as administrator.

reboot computer

downloaded the file multiple times

Any ideas on how to get it to install?

Try using the offline installers:

• Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
• Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

I tried those links and got a 404 fnf error.

Hi david,

These links has been changed now.

Please goto Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows page and look for "Still having problems" located at the bottom of the page and download flash player for your corresponding browser.

I have verified, links there are working fine.
