I just updated my Adobe Flash Player and I discovered that McAfee had been installed on my machine.  That is not okay!!  How dare you install something on my machine without my permission.  McAfee is a virus.  They do not care if it works right or not.  I DO NOT want that filth on my machine.  Regardless if I wanted it on my machine or not, I should have been given the choice.

McAfee is an optional offer, and the user is given the choice whether or not to install it:

If you did not see the offer and have ad-blockers enabled, it's possible the ad-blocker blocked the optional offer.
