Hi lucas_s1234,

I branched your comment from the original post as I suspect your issue is different.  You're using the online installer and the OP in the other thread was using the offline/full installers.

Thank you for posting the screenshot.  It's very helpful.  A 'fail to register' error does not mean the installer is corrupt.  There could be various reasons for this error.  Please provide the following three log files so that we may be able to investigate further:

  • FlashInstall.log file saved at C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash.
    • If this is a 64-bit system, there is a FlashInstall.log file saved at C:\Winows\SysWow64\Macromed\Flash.  We require both files if it's a 64-bit OS.
  • Adobe_ADM.log and Adobe_GDE.log saved at C:\Users\YourUserID\AppData\Local\Temp\Adobe_ADMLogs

The forums don't allow attachments, as such, please follow the How to share a documentFAQ instructions to upload the files and then post the URL to the files in your response.

Thank you.

Hi lucas_s1234,

The installation is failing due to permissions errors on the Flash Player file or in the registry.  Please see the FAQ Flash Player | Windows registry permissions.  This Windows tech note also provides some information https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/968003.  If you'd like to learn more about this error you can perform an internet search on "windows error 80070005".
