Hi nicoleb25958879,

We have a few different installers.  Can you please post a screenshot (see How to post a screenshot in the forum) of the dialog window depicting this behaviour?  This will help identify which installer this is and assist in troubleshooting the issue.

Thank you.

Hi nicoleb25958879

Thank you very much.  This is the online installer and generally means the connection is too slow and the files downloading in the background are failing to download. To confirm if this is the case, and not something else, please do the following:

  1. Create a file named ADM.trace inside your %temp% directory (usually C:\Users\YourUserID\AppData\Local\Temp\)
  2. Run the online installer again
  3. After the connection error returns, provide the following log files using the instructions here How to share a document:
    • The ADM.trace file created in step 1
    • The two log files saved at C:\Users\YourUserID\AppData\Local\Temp\Adobe_ADMLogs

Hi nicoleb25958879,

Thank you for providing the log file. It'll help with troubleshooting this issue.  Since you indicated you've tried using the online installer numerous times, with the same result, I don't think trying the online installer again is going to work.  Please try using the offline installer posted at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Mac page in the 'Still having problems' section.  That one should work successfully.
