Hello all

Could someone tell me if adobe media server can handle UDP/RTP signal. Because I have a satellite feed(s) that I would like to broadcast over the internet. But have trouble finding a way to do this.

Hi Hans,

Welcome to adobe forums.

Adobe media server can handle UDP signal, For multicast delivery, RTMFP is fully encrypted transport over UDP and will operate in the same network configurations as RTSP.   Please check this help file to configure adobe media server for RTMFP streaming: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/flashmediaserver/configadmin/flashmediaserver_4.5_config_admin.pdf

Please let me know if  you need any help.

Regards,

Puspendra

Hi Puspendra,

the signals are send from the Satellite dish to a dvb-s gateway that outputs the signal as udp multicast feed (udp://224.10.10.1:6000) and want somehow to transcode it and restream over internet to a another format (etc RTMP, HLS or other formats) is it possible
