Youtube is now mostly running on HTML5 and not using Flash player to play the video.

Can you please goto Flash Player Help on your safari and click on check now button and post the screenshot here using How to post a screenshot in the forum‌?

Just black screen. Looks like the video starts playing, but the screen is black.

1.Please work through the below guide.

Follow the directions in the guide on providing the dxdiag report and additional information about what you tested and observed.

2. disable hardware acceleration in settings.Steps are mentioned in below link
