Depends on the format you choose. If you choose the Flash format then you require flash player. If you choose the Java format then you require Java etc etc...

Everyone is moving away from Coldfusion's native UIs, of which cfgrid is one. They are dated and occasionally produce unpredictable results. Use the grid of a Javascript library like jQuery.

Yeah as BKBK says for grid etc jQuery plugins are more manageable and easy.

Having said that some of my older  cold fusion pages still sport cfgrid and work still great-wonderfully.

Problem is mobile responsiveness -need some work to be done
