Error #2046 loading FlashPlayer (works when using old cache in C:\Users\userId\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Flash Player\AssetCache\randomIdDir), how to correct?

Hi,

We have applications Flex (4.1 and 4.6) running on our servers, without any actions from us, application are now crashing for some people with the error :

#2046 : invalid signature

If we take the content of the directory : "C:\Users\userId\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Flash Player\AssetCache\randomIdDir" from a still working computer, it corrects.

Do you know any reasons for this?

Has some files downloaded from adobe at flashPlayer start expired for Flex 4.1 ?

Any help?

OS : Windows 7

Browser : any (tested on IE, chrome)

Hi,

This is a Flex issue and there is a lengthy thread on this over on the Flex user forum at https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1837656‌.  The Flex thread also contains a response from Adobe staff on this issue.  I won't duplicate it here to prevent the thread from forking as all information is there.
