I have Adobe LiveCycle Workbench ES2 Version: 9.5.0.0.20100908.1.247189 installed on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine with 8GB of RAM and it has been getting really bad about freezing up. At first, it would just get hung up every once in a while, but now it freezes practically every time that I make a process change. My sole job is using Workbench, so this problem is seriously decreasing my productivity. Does anyone know what the problem may be? When it get non-responsive and I have to force quit the application, I see the following stack trace:
JVM terminated. Exit code=-805306369
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe LiveCycle Workbench ES2\workbench\jre\bin\javaw.exe
-Xms128m
-Xmx512m

-XX:PermSize=64m

-Dcom.adobe.connection.compatibilitycheck.disable=false
-Dcom.adobe.process.editors.designer.antialias=true

...
If anyone has any ideas why this may be happening, please let me know. If you need more information about my installation, just ask.
Thanks.

Try to increase the workbench memory management settings:
Goto:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe LiveCycle Workbench ES2\workbench\workbench.ini
Change the 3rd and 4th lines to below:
-Xms256m
-Xmx1024m
Hope it helps.

Hi, I am getting the same problem with the ES3 and ES4 workbench.
I tried your suggestion about modifying the .ini file, but they still freeze.
It only happens to this computer, my other computers work fine.
Do you know of any solutions that you could share? much appreciated.

I'm having the same problem and changing the memory allocation did nothing.
