For several days many videos I try to link to go to Error 2046. This is especially true for News articles off my MSN home browser page. I uninstalled Adobe FlashPlayer and the videos would play, albeit clumsily. I downloaded a new FlashPlayer direct from Adobe's website, but it does the same thing. I've never run into this issue before. From what little I've been able to research, it's some sort of Runtime Library problem, and likely started with my most recent Adobe update, I don't know.
So is this an issue actually from my software or is it an I.E. or MSN problem? Is there a patch?

Sounds like something in your cache is corrupted.
Clear your browser cache
Go to this URL http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager03.htm l
Uncheck "Store common Flash components to reduce download times.". Click confirm.
Re-check the box. This should flush any cached libraries on the Flash side.

Dude! You got it. I checked immediately before clearing the cache and videos linked off MSN's main page news section still went to Error 2046. I looked elsewhere in the interim for solutions and some seemed pretty darned complex and time-consuming. 30 seconds after unchecking the box you mentioned and all was good again.
Appreciate it!
