Copying quiz questions from one course to another

I'd like to copy quiz questions from course 1 to course 2 without re-typing
all the text...

Copy / Paste of slides doesn't seem to work. They paste, but entering Quiz
manager shows the questions don't exist, exiting quiz manager deletes the
pasted slides.

Is there a good method to get this done?

At first glance, the easiest way to achieve this would be to delete all the other slides in the presentation and save the changed presentation as a different file, keeping the Quiz manager properties and building the new presentation around the Quiz questions.
