I use Maxthon browser. Just in this past week, I've been asked to install the latest FlashPlayer. There is no problem with installation, but it doesn't stay "installed" after closing the browser and then when reopening, it asks Flash to be reinstalled. Could Norton AntiVirus be playing a role with this?

While using Maxthon today, I noticed Flash player was already installed (from an installation a week ago), unlike the problems I've had before. Could it be that my defragmenting the drive, corrected the problem? Any which way, my problem has resolved without an input from Adobe or Maxthon
