Machines failing to silently auto update to 188 version.xml may be wrong.

We have all our machines set to silently auto install updates, however we are still waiting for 188 to install over 169.

If I go to the version download file https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/update/current/sau/11/xml/version.xml

I get the following.

<version>

<ActiveX major="17" minor="0" buildMajor="0" buildMinor="169"/>

<Plugin major="17" minor="0" buildMajor="0" buildMinor="169"/>

<Pepper major="17" minor="0" buildMajor="0" buildMinor="169"/>

<MacPlugin major="17" minor="0" buildMajor="0" buildMinor="169"/>

<MacPepper major="17" minor="0" buildMajor="0" buildMinor="169"/>

<SAUConfig checkFrequency="1"/>

</version>

I assume that this has yet to be updated to the latest version?

Has updating this been missed or is it by design?

Chrome has auto updated to flash 188, just need everything else to catch up!

Hi robk79657246,

This is by design.  This month's release is considered a loud release and users are notified of the update, instead of being updated silently.  Please see An outline of Flash Runtime installation options for more details.
