Flash Player installation problems

I go through all the steps to download Flash player.  It says Installation complete and takes me to a webpage saying I am on step 3 of 3 with an offer to purchase another product.  I don't want to purchase the product I just want to complete the download.  If I close out of the webpage nothing happens and Flash player is not on my computer.  I have tried this many times, downloaded it several ways, restarted by computer, and nothing is working.  How can I get this to install properly?

If you are using Windows, click on the following Adobe link. Then go to the bottom of the page where it says "Still having problems?" and click on the link for your browser.

If you're getting the offer for the PhotoShop/Lightroom bundle, then the installation completed.  Something else is going on.

To give you any useful advice, I'm going to need to know more about your computer and browser:

Also, a little more information about what you were trying to accomplish would be useful.  Is another program telling you to install Flash, or a specific website you visit, etc?
