Why won't Flash Player install on Mac?

I cannot install Flash Player.  I've tried every suggestion in your help for Mac sections and at 50% I get an error message: installation failed.  How can I install Flash Player without this problem?

What version of OS X is this on?

In order to troubleshoot further please provide the all of the install log files as noted in this FAQ Where do I find the Flash Player installation log on the Macintosh?

The system is OS X Yosemite 10.10.3
