I am getting this error message when I try to authorize my device: E_ADEPT_UNKNOWN (error code 2003). Help!

Hi Susan,

Deauthorize ADE

  • Launch ADE
  • Help -> Erase authorization.
  • ADE will be deauhorized.

Now again click on Help -> authorize computer.

  • Authorize ADE,

Please test the issue and if still you get same issue then please try following steps,

Choose Start > Run.

  • In the Open text box, type regedit and then press Enter. The Registry Editor opens.
  • In the left pane of the Registry Editor, locate the following registry key:
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept
  • Right-click the Adept key and choose Delete.
  • In the Confirm Key Delete dialog, click OK.

I am sure this will resolve the issue, in case still you get the same behaviour then please let me know with error screenshot.

I tried Deauthorizing and Reauthorizing, but now I get this error message:

computer or a phone? I'm using a Samsung Mega (AT&T phone) with the

Overdrive App.
