Enormous problems getting Adobe Flash to install

Have tried all suggestions on the Forum:

clean install;

uninstall;

reboot;

alternative sources of the DMG file etc.

Are there any other suggestions please for a Mac OS X 10.10.3 iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014)

I have found this site though which enabled a faultless install:

see the bottom of the file.
