I am using RoboHelp X5 and need to remove the WebSearch functionality from my online help project. I've tried searching RoboHelps help system and seem to end up in an endless loop!

Hi TMin

Click File > Project Settings. Then the WebSearch tab. Clear the "Enable WebSearch" check box and you should be golden.

Cheers... Rick

Hi again

Hmmm, tickling distant memory here. It seems that there is a small XML file created that maybe you also need to delete. Look in your project folder and see if you have a file named "ehelp.xml". If you do, try renaming it so RoboHelp cannot find it. Then re-compile/re-generate and see if that changes the outcome.

Cheers... Rick
