Cannot Update nor Uninstall Flash Player Because of Password

When I try to run the update for the Flash Player, I am asked for a password which I do not remember. I believe this is because I have two Adobe accounts, because the new password that I created yesterday does not work for this purpose.

I thought I would uninstall the old version, then install the new one with the new account, but I run into the same problem: you need the password to uninstall as well.

How do I get Adobe to fuse all my accounts into one! There is even a separate password for this forum!

Thank you.

At first I tried my Apple ID (instead of my system ID - duh!) - and when that didn't work I assumed they wanted an Adobe ID.

What a relief! Thank you very much.
