I am running Flash Player version 18.0.0.162 with no issues. I am a MackBook using 10.10.3 (14D136) with no issues. However, in Safari it shows version 18.0.162, but in Chrome is using version 17.0.0.188, Firefox also shows version 18.0.0.162. Is there a reason why Chrome is not displaying version 18.0.0.162?

Flash Player in chrome gets updated by chrome background update. You can try updating your chrome to update your flash player.
