P L E A S E help me I am going insane. I've tried downloading the new flash lots of times now every time the same thing happens:

open flash installer - enter password - new grey box pops up and that's it. Eventually close the box and a new window opens up on my safari browser saying the install was unsuccessful and shows me a trouble shooting page. I've uninstalled flash on my Mac using the uninstaller on the troubleshooting page and it still won't install successfully.

Plug ins are enabled on my security preferences I've checked

pls help me thanks     :white_heavy_check_mark:

That is an old installer that is no longer supported.  Did you have this installer already on your system or was it downloaded recently?

Please do the following:

  • Delete this file, and any other Flash Player installer files you may have on your system.
  • Launch the browser and clear the browser cache
  • Go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer and download the new installer.

Please let me know if you get the new installer (background is grey as opposed to being black like the one in your s

Hi hollyw23419974,

What browser, including version, are you using to download the installer?

What is the name of the file that is downloaded?

Does anything display inside the grey installer dialog window? Please post a screenshot (How to post a screenshot in the forum)

Thank you.
