I downloaded 2 books from Kobo and can't open them

I have a kobo E reader, and paid for 2 books from Kobo, but can't open them on my E-reader.  It states that the document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management and is not currently autorized for use with my Adobe ID - I am to sign in with the authorized Adobe ID and try again.  But how do I make my e-reader sign in to Adobe???
