Recently I could not open pdf files in acrobat x pro. I have went to the file location and launched a repair, but still can not open the pdf.. What else can I do that does not require me to get the new version of dc?

you can reinstall your acrobat x pro over your current installation, or explain what happens when you try to open acrobat.

I click on it and the processing wheel turns a few times then goes away and the file doesnt open. I tried it on several pdf's and x pro itself.. nada...///

if windows, right click acrobat>click 'run as administrator'.

if that fails, uninstall, clean (Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs) and reinstall
