Hi richardg33876499‌,

Can you Please attach a copy of your install logs (How to share a document) and also upload a screenshot of the problem screen (FAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video?).

Is this the first time you are installing a beta? have you tried turning off the antivirus?

Too late for that! I would have to go through the entire process of

un-installing '17' / trying to install '18' / failing to register and then

being left with no flash player for an important weekend streaming event.

Or: go through the Restore/update process again. Ugg!

I'll wait for my free windows '10' upgrade in 30 days. Or a definitive fix.

What is happening is: the new version is failing to be entered into my

system registry and so, it fails to install!

The install log is gone as a result of restoring my image from backup. I

just can't bear to go through that entire process a third time today!

Sorry about that!

I have some good Anti-Virus and Anti Mal-Ware products on my PC. So I have

to put my faith in them to protect me from the exploit until I can get a

permanent solution.

Again; Thank you!
