if there's an excess activation issue you will see a message stating exactly that when you try to install your programs.  if you see that contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'still need help', https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

ask for an activation count reset.

if you see a problem after installation it's not an activation count issue.  start debugging by:

reset your preferences -

acrobat:  http://help.adobe.com/en_US/acrobat/X/pro/using/WS58a04a822e3e50102bd615109794195ff-7feb.w.html
