Problem transferring to my Kobo - shows no permission to copy this book

Hi

Successfully installed ADE and downloaded an E book into my library. ADE recognises my Kobo and can display all the books on Kobo. But when I try and copy the book from my ADE library (drag and drop) into Kobo I get the following error message.  Copy not allowed no permission to copy this book.

Kobo device authorisation says, this device is already authorised.

Ant tips would be much appreciated.

Hi, I had the same problem. I found that if I close ADE, disconnect my Kobo (waiting for the Kobo to go back into pause modus) and then open ADE again and connecting my Kobo again it is possible to copy the ebooks without any problem.

The reading permission might be set to Single Device, please refer to the below screenshots to confirm.

Thanks this has crystallised the problem.

Permissions of ADE are set to view and copy to any device but the Library

book I downloaded is set to not allow copy - only view on any device. I'll

take it up with the Brisbane City Council Library service.

Cheers

I have the same issue.  No option to copy to multiple devices, like my Kobo.  PC only, which sucks.  I'm calling my library.
