How do I copy from my PC to my Nook?

I recently reset my Digital Editions for this computer, because I was having trouble downloading books form my library account. Now I want to transfer them to my Nook and am unable. I get an error message that tells me I do not have permission to copy the book. How do I solve this problem?

I am not an expert in this forum but one suggestion might be that this is a Barnes & Noble technical issue that can be addressed by their customer service.  But I am only offering one angle.  There could be an Adobe fix.
