I was finally able to reload my Help project in Robohelp 10 after discovering that it had become read only for some reason.  I had been getting the "Open project was cancelled or the application was unable to load database for" [path to my RoboHelp project\MyRoboProject.CPD] error message.

However, now it won't let me save. Instead, I get the following error message. Does anyone know what is going on here? Thanks

Looks like a rights issue – no source control in play is there? You could also try deleting or renaming the .cpd file (it gets recreated when RH starts up and opens the project).

Yes, unfortunately it is linked to TFS for source control, etc.

Do you have Write access?

Can you make a copy of the project and then try to open it in RH?
