About the last version of Adobe Flash Player 18 ActiveX, 18.0.0.209 installed on 2015-07-22 not working ?

Hi,

In the site « Shockwave Player Help », I used the "Check Now" button : the answer is " Sorry, Shockwave Player is either not installed or disabled .... " ?

But, I am sure the the software is there (as object) AND I.E.11 mangement indicated « Shockwave Flash Object ... is actived .... 32 bits And 64 bits » !

I used a site that uses Adobe Flash Player and as soon as I tries to see a special card picture, I received a message saying that « I have not Adobe Flash Player installed or it is no longer there, and so on .... ». The same thing arrived with other sites using the same technic.

I never had problem before now with this software .... The problem began in February or March this year. Still it worked on Safari but not in E.I. 11 but now, it doesnt work at all, even I.E. 11 and Safari !

Finally, I dont understand the reason why and, of course, I need help ...

PC : Windows 7 Pro - 64 bits

Hi amag,

Shockwave Player and Flash Player are two different products. The page you're looking for is https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html‌ not https://helpx.adobe.com/shockwave.html‌.

Hi « Maria »,

I thank you for your answer; You are right, I was confuse with the two products where I was on "manage modules".

But, in I.E. I unchecked in Tools - Security - « ActivateX Filter » SO suddenly, everything goes well …. I have no more problem !

Finally, no more action, just thank you again for your « "prompt" » answer (Like "more quickly" in english).
