I had to do a system recover and lost everything including my adobe flash player. Now I cannot seem to download it again. I tried to download it again and when I checked nothing is there. It is not in my toolbar and extensions, not in my recent add-ons, not on my apps. does not appear to have downloaded.  Every time I try to download it  from  internet explorer direct it errors out. I just downloaded Windows 8.1 and the Flash Player is for Windows 8.  Could this be the problem?  If so how do I get the Flash Player updates for 8.1 until I have Flash Player for 8 downloaded. HELP!!

Hello nancyb7580969

From windows 8 on words on IE browsers, flash player comes built within the browser, so no need to install flash player explicitly. So if you hit Adobe Flash Player Install for all versions , then it will lead to Flash Player Issues | Windows 8. In this link all the information is available to enable Flash if it is disabled on windows 8 platform.
