Lightroom 6 refuses to update

Hi there. I have Lightroom 6.0. I would like to apply the current update, to 6.1.1, however: 1) help/updates tells me that there are no updates available. 2) When I download the Setup.dmg file from this page (http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/), it stops with this error: Lightroom CC/6 update – July 2015 Update is not applicable. Error Code: U44M2P28.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have Lightroom 6.0 and can not upgrade to 6.01 or 6.1.
