RoboHelp X5 on Terminal Server

We are running RH X5 on a terminal server, and two remote employees are both logging into the server, accessing RH and doing a get latest in Visual Source Safe (which is on a network server) to pull down a project to their profiles on the terminal server. Both have the same rights in their individual profiles, yet one can successfully pull the project down to his profile and open it successfully in RH. The other employee can pull it down to her profile, but when she opens the project and RH performs a get latest, it always fails on the last two files and displays an Application Error message box and the program terminates.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dave Browne

Working with RH on a network (that includes virtual servers) should never be attempted, as attested to by the thousands of times we've mentioned here on the forum.

You can check out files from source control over a network, but your RH license and your RH project must be on your local machine. Sorry.

Good luck,
Leon

Well, it is working fine for employee number one, and the second employee using it on Terminal Server is able to open and update files in a number projects except for the one issue i mention above.

I'm new to this forum, but I just ran a search of "virtual server" and found no content at all. Perhaps you or someone could explain why RH would know or care that it is running on a virtual machine versus a physical machine?

Thanks in advance,

Dave Browne

Good luck,
