Load xml from http from a local browser

Hi

I have a small app which is being executed in a browser running locally from the HD. HTML with embedded flash, both are on the HD.

I want to load a xml file from an http server. Is this not possible?

I would imagine it would be possible, depending on how you have it all setup, dont recall but you may need a crossdomain policy file to allow permissions.
