Hello
I've been trying to download Flash and Shockwave Player with MZ Firefox several times. I keep having problems all the time.
I wonder if my Firefox is the problem or maybe it is the Adobe website itself.
I just refreshed my firefox from here:
It removes all of Mozzilla Firefox Add Ons. I even went through with deleting some plugins from my Firefox browser. Plugins are fairly easy to remove, you just find the path and rename the *.dll file.
So my Firefox is cleaner than ever now.
And still... nothing works!
Any solutions please?
How can I make it possible to download from Adobe using Firefox?
Help please!

Dear John T Smith,
I don't have a Firewall right now. Well, not that I know of.
I'm running an old computer with Windows XP Professional: version 2002, Service Pack 3.
My computer's specifications are as follows:
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU
5130@2.00 GHz
3.25 GB of RAM
I'm using Mozzilla Firefox version 39.0
And I also have AVAST Free Antivirus.
The version of my Antivirus is: 2015.10.2.2218 (it's the latest one).
I did try using a different web browser. Microsoft's Internet Explorer worked well for downloading and installing those Adobe products. But I don't want to switch back to IE. I've been using firefox for over 10 years now, and it is a lot faster than IE. I would like to know if this problem can be solved without me having to switch to another browser.
By the way I'm not trying to download Creative Cloud. I'm not quite familiar with the Creative Cloud.
I only wish to know what is wrong whenever I try to download Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Shockwave Player.
Thank you very much for your time.

Hi surfotw10,
I'm not aware of issues downloading Flash Player using Firefox browser (can't speak for Shockwave as I don't work on that product and don't frequent the Adobe Shockwave Player‌ forums). What happens, exactly, when you try to download the installer using Firefox? Step by step instructions to reproduce, with actual result, are very helpful.
Are you only having problems downloading files from adobe.com site or does this happen on other sites as well?
Are you able to download Flash Player or Shockwave with Firefox in safe mode (Safe Mode - MozillaZine Knowledge Base)
Have you tried the Firefox forums? I looked over there and found this, Unable to save or download files - MozillaZine Knowledge Base, although, it's a very old article. It may, or many not, be of assistance.
