Mike, did you run the cleaner tool before reinstalling?
Good suggestion. Tried again adding the cleaner after doing the uninstall. Did not fix this >.<.
The cleaner looked to run good, but did not find this file "Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log." as per
I did update to 8.02 of CS6.
I log in under another username, and was working. Going to try uninstalling xtrafinder adn possibly default folder. Besides that do not have any other software.
Grabbed these file/folder form the top of the user level of the working account
- Adobe InDesign
But they did not help. I am on 10.10.4, but have had this problem for a long time and previous OS.
Did you remove the prefs when you uninstalled? It might be enough to replace them (see Replace Your Preferences) but if you have an account that works consider renaming the two Adobe folders listed inthat link, then copy the same folders from the working account.
Macintosh: Hard Drive/Users/<USER>/Library/Caches/Adobe InDesign/<Version #>/<Language>/ (Note: Prior to version 6 [CS4] the language folder is not used).
then got this message.
Then had to use the adobe cloud to update to 8.1 since could not find that patch on the indesign mac update page. Is working now and can add to the spelling dictioanary.
