I make a clipping mask from several layers in illustrator, create a clipping mask and save the result as a eps. But when I import it into Indesign the image box is just blank/white?
I have been using the same technique for a couple of years now and this has suddenly cropped up with CC 2015. Anyone off any advice please?
Using a Mac and the latest up-to-date CC2015.
Stop using EPS. It’s an archaic file format with not support for transparency.
Save the file as AI and place that in InDesign.
If it were just for me, I would, but as I work for a company that uses an external printers to automatically collate 800+ maps for over 15,000 printed materials I have little choice. I shall have to raise this issue and options immediately with the printers. Either way, this is now going to cost us money and time all because a program isn't operating the way it should due to an 'upgrade'.
