Using Windows 7.  Have installed Flash Player on Firefox (also have tried on Chrome).  Says the install completed, but when restart computer it's still not there.  Checked in "All Programs" and don't see it.  Is there something else I need to do to complete the install?

Hi annemaried24504510,

According to the screenshot, Flash Player is installed.  When you say "Checked in "All Programs" and don't see it" are you referring to the Control Panel or the Program Files directory?  It won't be there in the Program Files directory due to Flash Player being a plugin.

Using Firefox, please go to http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html and click the 'Check Now' button.  What are the results?

Yes, I had looked in "All Programs."

The "Check Now" says I have the latest version:  18.0.0.232, Firefox (NPAPI), Windows 7

Problem is that it doesn't work!  I am trying to access a school site for my son's math class.  When he tries to use the site, it says: You do not have the most recent version of the Adobe® Flash® Player, which is required to view the content in this course.

When I click on "Browser Check" it says Flash isn't installed

Hi,

The Check Now results indicate that the latest version of Flash Player is installed, as does the screenshot of the directory Flash Player is installed to.  It is also enabled in the browser, otherwise, the Check Now results would indicate that it was either not installed, or disabled.  See Enable for Firefox‌.

Are you able to see Flash content in other sites? To check, once a video starts playing, right-click on it.  If it's Flash, it'll report the version of Flash Player installed. If you're able to view Flash content on other sites, but not the school site, I suspect the issue is with the Flash detection on the school site.  Is this a public URL or is a login required?  If public, please post (or private message) me the URL to the site.
