Got windows 8.1 64-bit. When I  try to update flash a pop-up window appears with the text "Flash player is integrated with internet Explorer in windows 8. You don't need to install flash player".

Tried to update the i Explorer, but it didn't work. What else can I do?

Hi ninak34838096,

As of Windows 8, Microsoft embeds Flash Player in Internet Explorer and updates are released by Microsoft via Windows Updates (name of the update is "Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows <Windows Version>").

What version of Flash Player do you currently have installed?  To get the version installed, go to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html‌ and click 'Check Now', if it returns 18.0.0.232 the latest version is installed on your system.
