I hope you are doing fine.
LR seems to be looking in the "H" drive, how much space is left on your "H" drive, and can you please let us know where on which drive your catalog located.
My catalog is located on H drive which has 890GB of free space (2TB drive)
The other drive with images is a 4TB drive with 1.7TB free
My SSD with the OS has 50GB free (256GB drive)
I have looked at disk cleanup and there is nothing to clean (on H drive)
I am a bit of a novice at reading Windows Log files, I do not see anything obvious.
I have only seen this message upon returning overnight, computer is left on. I've seen it three times in the last month or so.
My windows server (WHS 2011) does backups overnight...not sure if this is relevant.
- Close LR
- Go to the location of your catalog
- Copy it to another drive and then open the catalog(.lrcat) from that new hard drive and see if that fixes the issue.
Please reply with the result
Sorry for the delay, I was out of town.
Auto import is off.
This error only appears after leaving LR open overnight (so far). I wonder if my Windows Home Server is a factor. It does nightly backups.
Would you please try changing the camera raw cache size to 100GB under Lightroom preferences?
- Go to Edit> Lightroom Preferences> File Handling> Camera raw Cache settings and change it.
- Restart Lightroom and then check whether you are getting the message or not.
