That doesn't answer my question, but thanks anyway. I need to know, since the Extension Manager no longer works with CC 2015, how do I add a third-party extension (not an add-on from the adobe Add-ons page) to cc 2015.
What do you mean by 3rd party Lori?
For our own Add-ons site, you would use the CC desktop app rather than Extension Manager. For 3rd party extensions, you can use the CmdLineTool, explained here|: Adobe Exchange
Third-party meaning that I bought the add-on from another company. Not third party like from the Adobe exchange.
It's called MagicPicker4 by Anastasiy (I got the name wrong in my original post), and it worked in Illustrator and Photoshop 2014. It went missing in the 2015 version of these programs. I can't upgrade without uninstalling, and I can't uninstall, because it's not showing up anywhere.
I tried using the app from link you gave, but no luck there, either. Same thing with the Astute Graphics plugins for Illustrator, BTW. All new versions, all compatible with 2015 (according to them, anyway), and none will install. I've been to the Support folks of both companies, and no help there. So, something must have went wonky upgrading to Windows 10 (I upgraded CC2014 to CC2105 with great difficulty after the Win10 upgrade, too). Sigh...sounds like it's a system thing...those add-ons were great for my workflow, too.
Thanks for trying guys. I really do appreciate the help.
